Amsterdam Stadium was planned to be constructed on top of the north metro station. The City of Amsterdam was part of the planning process and had allocated the lot for the stadium. However, the plans were delayed due to changes in the political leadership (mayor elections).
Mika Sulin created the master plan, feasibility study and investor documentation.
